The RO membrane is the most important – and usually the most expensive – part of your purifier. Printed MRPs of ₹2,000–3,000 are common, but the actual market rate is much lower. Here is our current price list so you know what a fair price looks like.
Prices below are our store prices for October 2026 (GST included). They can change – the product page always shows the latest price.

Why is the MRP so much higher than the price?
RO membranes are sold through several layers – brand, distributor, dealer and technician. The MRP printed on the box leaves room for all of them. Buying directly at wholesale rates removes most of that margin, which is why the same membrane can cost a fraction of its MRP.
What decides the price of an RO membrane?
- GPD rating – 75/80 GPD are cheapest; 100 GPD and high-TDS membranes cost more; 300 GPD commercial membranes cost the most.
- Brand and element – imported elements (Vontron, CSM, DuPont) usually cost more than economy brands.
- Encased vs open element – encased inline membranes come with their own housing.
- High-TDS rating – membranes rated for 1500–3000 TDS cost more but last longer in borewell water.
Which membrane should you buy?
The safest rule: buy the same GPD as your old membrane, because your pump and flow restrictor are matched to it. Confused between 80 and 100 GPD? Read 80 GPD vs 100 GPD – which is better. For borewell water, see 100 GPD high-TDS membranes.
Frequently asked questions
What is the price of an 80 GPD RO membrane?
On our store, 80 GPD membranes currently start at ₹435 (GST included).
What is the price of a 100 GPD RO membrane?
100 GPD membranes currently start at ₹399.
How long does an RO membrane last?
Usually 1.5–3 years, depending on water TDS and how regularly you change the pre-filters.
Does a costly membrane give purer water?
Not always. Purity depends on salt rejection and pre-filter condition. A well-matched mid-range membrane is often the best value.
