How to choose the right pump
- Match the GPD to your membrane – a 100 GPD membrane needs a 100 GPD pump. A 100 GPD pump also works with 75/80 GPD membranes in most domestic purifiers.
- Voltage – most domestic pumps are 24V DC. Your SMPS / adaptor must match the pump rating.
- Port size and mounting – most use 1/4 inch push-fit ports; check the screw positions on your cabinet.
- Commercial plants (25–100 LPH) use 300 GPD or larger pumps – see commercial RO plant guide.
