Monthly (5 minutes)
- Check tap and RO water TDS with a TDS meter and note the numbers.
- Look for leaks under the purifier – see RO leakage fixes.
- Listen for unusual pump noise – see RO making noise.
- Wipe the outer body and tap.
Every 6 months
- Change the sediment filter (every 2–3 months for muddy or borewell water).
- Change or check the carbon filter.

- Check the TDS controller setting.
Every year
- Change the post-carbon / mineral cartridge.

- Check membrane performance with the 10% TDS test.
Every 1.5–3 years
- Replace the RO membrane – signs it is due.
- Inspect the pump, SMPS and solenoid valve if output has dropped.
